Resources for Students
In the fiscal year 2005, USC Columbia faculty received $166.2 million
from external sponsors to support a variety of research, public service,
and training projects. There are hundreds of opportunities for
undergraduate and graduate students to become involved in faculty
research. Engineering, biotechnology, computer science, and
business students eager to develop new technologies
often find that technology transfer activities such as obtaining IP
protection, marketing technologies, and commercializing technologies, give them a running start
for careers that will build the economy in the 21st century.
